Product Overview

Flame retardant unsaturated polyester resin is specially formulated to self-extinguish and limit smoke generation when exposed to fire. These resins are the preferred matrix for fire-rated composite components in building infrastructure, mass transit interiors, electrical enclosures, and marine applications. Aertuo's 27-series FR resins deliver consistent UL94 V-0 performance with excellent mechanical retention and processing latitude.

Aertuo's 27-series flame retardant resin range delivers reliable fire performance without compromising mechanical properties. The 27-81A grade achieves an oxygen index of 28%+ with UL94 V-0 at 1.6 mm, while 27-91H offers enhanced heat resistance for high-temperature molding applications. Low-smoke variants are available for mass transit and building interior applications where smoke toxicity is critical. All formulations maintain excellent wet-out and flow characteristics for SMC/BMC and pultrusion processes.
